WhiteSource Recognized for Promoting Women in Tech Leadership

TEL AVIV, Israel, Dec.13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- WhiteSource, the leader in open source security and license compliance management, announced today that it had won the Comparably 2018 Q4 Culture Awards as one of the Best Companies for Women.

WhiteSource has undergone extensive growth over the past year, more than doubling the headcount of the previous year. Women comprise 30% of the total roster and made up over 20% of new hires in 2018.

This shortage is most strongly felt in the technical roles such as R&D and Product, two areas where the company has been successful in bringing on more women to fill these positions.
