Pizza Nova Guelph Raises $2000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters
THANK YOU TO THE COMMUNITY OF GUELPH FOR HELPING SUPPORT CHARITY DAY AT PIZZA NOVA
GUELPH, ON, Dec. 7, 2018 /CNW/ - On Wednesday, November 28th Pizza Nova Guelph celebrated the spirit of community and served $2.00 small pepperoni and cheese pizzas from 11am ? 8pm with all proceeds from every pizza sold being donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph, a local charity with a vision that every child in Canada who needs a mentor, has a mentor. Big Brothers Big Sisters is committed to being a leader in providing youth with the highest quality, volunteer based mentoring programs and changing the course of young lives.
On Thursday, December 6th, at 11am Pizza Nova Guelph presented Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph with the proceeds at an official cheque presentation ceremony.
Through the support and generosity of the community, the money donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph wouldn't have been possible without the Guelph residents and passers-by who came out to support the community on November 28th and purchased a small pepperoni or cheese pizza for only $2.00 and joined in the celebrations for the one day charity event. The ever charming Pizza Nova mascot, Leonardough interacted with fans capturing the moment with photos, along with a magician who entertained customers as they waited in line.
A big thank you again to all the residents of Guelph who came out to support Charity Day and helping Pizza Nova Guelph give back to the community!
