RICHMOND, BC, Dec. 3, 2018 /CNW/ - Alaina Lockhart, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Tourism, Official Languages and La Francophonie, will deliver remarks at the 2018 Canadian Inbound Tourism Association (Asia Pacific)'s Winter Function. She will highlight the positive collaboration between Canada and the Asia-Pacific region, which has led to important economic benefits in the tourism sector and the creation of middle-class jobs across the country.
During her remarks, Parliamentary Secretary Lockhart will discuss her recent mission to China, where she promoted the Atlantic Growth Strategy. In addition, she will update members of the tourism sector on the Canada-China Year of Tourism 2018.
The 2018 Winter Function brings together travel and industry experts for education seminars and an afternoon trade show known as the Winter Marketplace.
