Cameroun Use of Chemical Weapons to Massacre Southern Cameroonians/Ambazonians

WASHINGTON, Dec. 3, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Southern Cameroons Interim Government shall on Thursday Dec 6th 2018, be holding an informational press conference at the National Press Club in Washington DC to educate the international community on French Cameroun's recent use of a chemical weapon of mass destruction to massacre dozens of civilians in Bali, a town in the vicinity of Bamenda, Northern Zone of Ambazonia.

As threats by the Paul Biya government to deploy even more of the deadly chemical looms in other towns and villages, the Interim Government of Ambazonia also would like to bring to the attention of the media and the world, the grave danger such reckless impunity poses to the people of the Southern Cameroons as the UN and the rest of the powers that be watch Paul Biya, President of French Cameroon carry on this criminality unchecked.

Since French Cameroun declared war on the Southern Cameroons/Ambazonia, a little over a year ago, it is estimated that Cameroun soldiers have killed over 3000 Southern Cameroonians with another 6000 said to be locked up incommunicado in prisons and detention centers dotted across French Cameroun.

According to UN's own data, over 200,000 have been displaced, (living mainly in bushes), another 200,000 are refugees in neighboring Nigeria. The numbers grow by the day. Besides, the UN is also on record as reporting that over 123 villages and towns have been razed to dust by French Cameroun soldiers.

At the Press Conference, Dr. Samuel Sako, Acting Interim President, and Chris Anu, Secretary of Communications & IT of the Southern Cameroons/Ambazonia Interim Government, shall be taking questions on the abuses of the Cameroun Government on Ambazonians, appealing for worldwide condemnation of the massacres in Ambazonia, and explaining why in the absence of efforts at a negotiated settlement for the conflict, Ambazonians will have to fight till the last man standing to defend their sovereignty and independence.

The press conference starts at 1pm and opened to the public. All additional inquiries should be sent to [email protected] and phone calls to +1603-682-2687.
