National Red Mitten Day Returns On November 21!


HUDSON'S BAY TO DOUBLE THE DONATION ON ALL 2019 RED MITTENS SOLD TO BENEFIT CANADIAN OLYMPIC FOUNDATION

TORONTO, Nov. 19, 2018 /CNW/ -- Canada's favourite mittens are back and Hudson's Bay is calling on all Canadians to join the celebration! Wednesday, November 21 marks the second annual National Red Mitten Day. For each $15 pair of 2019 mittens purchased on Red Mitten Day, Hudson's Bay will double the $3.90 donation (up to $50,000) made to the Canadian Olympic Foundation. A long-standing Canadian tradition, money raised from the sale of Red Mittens goes to support the country's athletes with much needed funding for everything from access to elite coaching, equipment, sport medicine and nutrition. To date, the Red Mittens alone have raised over $32 million for the Canadian Olympic Foundation.

New this year, Hudson's Bay is making it even easier to purchase the 2019 Red Mittens with a unique traveling pop-up shop in key locations across the Greater Toronto Area. The seasonal shop gives consumers the opportunity to stock up on the must have collectable mittens and share their Canadian spirit. The 2019 Red Mittens are available now at all Hudson's Bay locations across Canada and on thebay.com and retail for $15.00 CAD. This year's edition features horizontal grey and white stripes over the length of the mitten, offering a unique twist on the classic design. They are available in "infant" to "adult" size allowing the whole family to support a great cause in style.
