Getinge appoints Stéphane Le Roy as President Business Area Surgical Workflows and Member of Getinge Executive Team


GOTHENBURG, Sweden, Nov. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Stéphane Le Roy has been appointed President Business Area Surgical Workflows and member of the Getinge Executive Team. Stéphane most recently held the position of Regional President of South West Europe, in Getinge.

In his new role, Stéphane will be a member of the Getinge Executive Team and report to Mattias Perjos, President & CEO. He takes up the position on November 15, 2018. Stéphane succeeds Paul Marcun who has decided to leave Getinge to pursue another career opportunity.

Stéphane brings a valuable experience in the field of medical technology equipment, services and software. He joined Getinge in 2012 as country manager for Infection Control in France, and before that, he had held several positions within sales, product and marketing management of medical imaging systems, for GE Healthcare and Siemens.

Stéphane holds a Masters degree in Industrial Engineering from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées in France, for which he also studied one year at the University of Texas in Austin, USA.
