Veterans Resource Centers in Chico and Redding Remain Open
SANTA ROSA, Calif., Nov. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Veterans Resource Centers ("VRC") in Chico and Redding remain open and continue to serve veterans from the surrounding area while the Camp Fire, which has devastated the town of Paradise in Northern California, has grown to more than 70,000 acres with only five percent of the fire contained as of Friday morning.
VRC staff will be delivering supplies and assisting local authorities, including the American Red Cross and FEMA, with relief efforts. To help with those efforts, VRC is seeking much-needed cash donations, which can be made securely online by going to www.vetsresource.org and clicking "Donate," or by going to www.best-charities.org, searching for Veterans Resource Centers of America and clicking "Make A Donation" at the top of the VRC page. Please specify in the comments section that the donation is for the Camp Fire.
