Great Clips® honours veterans across Canada with free haircuts on Remembrance Day
TORONTO, Nov. 6, 2018 /CNW/ - Great Clips, Inc., the world's largest salon brand, once again celebrates Remembrance Day by thanking those who have served in our military with a free haircut for veterans and active duty military at any Great Clips salon across Canada.
As part of this program, Great Clips salons will open their doors on November 11 to welcome veterans for complimentary haircuts as a way to show respect and appreciation for their service. General customers who visit a participating Great Clips salon on Remembrance Day will also have an opportunity to pay-it-forward by receiving a "Free Haircut Card," on November 11 that can be given to a veteran and redeemed November 12 ? December 31, 2018.
"Veterans have always been an extremely important part of the Great Clips community and we're honoured to be able to expand our gratitude across Canada and the US at each of our more than 4,300 salons," said Steve Hockett, CEO of Great Clips Inc. In addition, Great Clips supports veterans in Canada and the US through a number of additional initiatives outside of Remembrance Day. In 2017, Great Clips launched a program called #Greatful4Vets that featured the powerful stories of men and women veterans and veteran families across Canada and the US. The #Greatful4Vets program honoured those who have served as well as those who supported those in the military through a series of videos that engaged audiences and showed the vast appreciation of Great Clips, and its network of salon owners and their managers and stylists, as well as their customers.
