HEI Maintains Quarterly Dividend of $0.31 Per Share


HONOLULU, Nov. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- On  October 31, 2018, the Board of Directors of Hawaiian Electric Industries, Inc. (HEI) (NYSE: HE) maintained HEI's quarterly cash dividend of $0.31 cents per share, payable December 11, 2018, to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 21, 2018 (ex-dividend date of November 20, 2018).  The dividend would be equivalent to an annual rate of $1.24 per share.

Dividends have been paid continuously since 1901.  At the indicated annual dividend rate and based on the closing share price on October 31, 2018 of $37.30, HEI's dividend yield would be 3.3%.
