OVERLAND PARK, Kan., Oct. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Lockpath, a leading provider of integrated risk management solutions, today announced the receipt of two newly issued patents related to its Keylight Platform. On September 25, the United States Patent and Trademark Office issued Lockpath U.S. Patent number 10,083,016 entitled "Procedurally Specifying Calculated Database Fields and Populating Them". The second patent, numbered 9,940,392 and entitled "Performing an Object Relational Model Query Against a Database that Includes Fields Defined at Runtime", was issued on July 5.

The patent for the Keylight Formula Engine recognizes the advanced technology providing support for complex formulas and allowing for efficient execution. The Keylight Formula Engine empowers users to create accurate risk calculations based on scanning inputs, National Vulnerability Database severities, business-related asset inputs, configuration items and more with ease. Users can also nimbly adapt their calculations as external risks as other inputs change.

This marks the second patent for Keylight's Dynamic Content Framework. The first was received in 2014. This new patent highlights enhancements made to the technology that allow for more efficient interpretation of the database, as well as a simplified approach to development. Together, the new patents reinforce Lockpath's position as an innovator and leader in the GRC and integrated risk management space.

"With risk management as a vital part of modern businesses, a significant need for accuracy, efficiency and ease-of-use in today's technology has presented itself," said Chris Caldwell, Chief Executive Officer and Founder at Lockpath. "These patents highlight our commitment to providing our customers with the latest in GRC and integrated risk management technology offerings and maintaining our position as an industry innovator."

Lockpath's award-winning Keylight Platform integrates the full vendor lifecycle into daily processes and includes capabilities for information gathering, due diligence investigation, risk assessments, contract negotiation, ongoing monitoring, and termination workflows. By centralizing all this information in one user-friendly solution with advanced reporting capabilities, Keylight allows organizations to better manage vendor risk and to reduce the risk of non-compliance.
