West Receives Excellence in Pharma: Corporate Social Responsibility Award at CPhI Worldwide


EXTON, Pa., Oct. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. (NYSE: WST), a global leader in innovative solutions for injectable drug administration, today announced that it has received the 2018 Excellence in Pharma: Corporate Social Responsibility Award. The honor was presented to West on October 9, 2018, at the CPhI Worldwide conference in Madrid, Spain.

Organized by CPhI Worldwide, one of the world's largest pharma trade shows, the CPhI Pharma Awards recognize innovative pharmaceutical companies who are committed to driving the industry forward. The Excellence in Pharma: Corporate Social Responsibility Award highlights innovation in improving transparency and public outreach, while also recognizing new programs in charitable work; sustainability and environmental protection; employee reward, fair pay and ethical working policies; and training programs.
