EWTN To Air Canonization Mass Of Pope Paul VI, Oscar Romero & Five Other Blesseds
IRONDALE, Ala., Oct. 10, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- EWTN Global Catholic Network will air the Canonization Mass of seven blesseds, including Bl. Pope Paul VI, best known as the Pope who promulgated Humanae Vitae, and Oscar Romero, known for his defense of human rights. The Mass will air live in English, Spanish and German at 3:30 a.m. ET, Sunday, Oct. 14 on EWTN television and radio. Other blesseds to be canonized Oct. 14 are: Bl. Francesco Spinelli, founder of the Institute of the Adorers of the Blessed Sacrament; Bl. Vincenzo Roman, a diocesan priest from Torre de Greco in Italy; Bl. Maria Caterina Kasper, founder of the Institute of the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ; Bl. Nazaria Ignazia of Saint Teresa of Jesus, founder of the Congregation of the Misioneras Cruzadas de la Iglesia Sisters, and Bl. Nunzio Sulprizio, an Italian teen who suffered the pain of a gangrenous leg with great patience and heroic virtue.
