(Codero), a leader in managed hosting services and technology enablement, today released a case study on USConnect Holdings' expansion into managed services to meet rural customers' needs. USConnect represents seven rural local exchange carriers (RLECs) whose customer bases are interested in modernizing their IT to include data continuity, collaboration suites, and other tools.
USConnect has built new offerings that leverage Codero storage and compute, including web site hosting and disaster recovery and backup services. They also now provide security cameras, alarm systems, hosted voice and WiFi networks, and expect to add more services in the near future.

After investing in fiber installation throughout its rural service areas, USConnect needed to find ways to build upon its existing customer relationships in order to recoup its investment costs. Company leadership recognized that the Codero Partner Program could help its subsidiaries quickly and affordably add new services that reach within customers' walls.
