Franklin Templeton Investments Launches Initiative with Ellevate Network to Further Develop Female Talent

NEW YORK, Oct. 9, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Franklin Templeton Investments, a global leader in investment management, is launching an initiative with Ellevate Network, the leading network for professional women, to advance the professional development of its female employees.

As part of a year-long pilot program, Ellevate Network will provide Franklin Templeton Investments' female employees with access to an inclusive community of ambitious professional women and online educational resources, as a means of supporting their professional development and long-term success. This initiative aligns with Franklin Templeton's ongoing commitment to employee engagement and fostering a culture of inclusion and collaboration.

"We are excited to work with Ellevate to provide our female employees with access to a network of professional, talented and successful women with whom they can share ideas and experiences," said Sherry Dondo, vice president of Talent Development, who spearheads Diversity and Inclusion at Franklin Templeton Investments. "As we look to build and empower female leaders at the firm, we view opportunities such as this as an investment in our people, which we are confident benefits both Franklin Templeton and our clients."

Ellevate Network CEO Kristy Wallace said, "What a pleasure it is to be launching this program with Franklin Templeton Investments, a company that is genuinely committed to the professional development and engagement of their employees through networking and resource sharing. At Ellevate Network, our goal is to bring more diverse voices to the table where important conversations are happening and working with Franklin Templeton Investments is a key part of that initiative. We're looking forward to working together this year to further employee development in a way that has a positive long-term impact."

Ellevate Network will be a complement to Franklin Templeton's existing Business Resource Groups, including Women@FTI, which aim to foster diversity by providing employees with forums to discuss topical issues that apply to their life and work, to network with people from different personal or professional backgrounds, to build meaningful relationships, and to contribute to the business and community.
