RICHMOND HILL, ON, Oct. 2, 2018 /CNW/ - Mazda Canada Inc. (MCI) today reported September sales of 6,101 vehicles, representing a decrease of 11.3 percent versus September 2017. Year-to-date (YTD) sales are 58,786, which is an increase of 3.1 percent compared to the same period in 2017.

KEY SEPTEMBER SALES NOTES:
CX-5 eked out a small sales win among Mazda models in September with 2,277 units sold, versus 2,267 for second-place Mazda3, which still holds the sales lead for Mazda Canada year-to-date.
In a challenging month, CX-9 sales proved resilient with a record September, increasing sales by 7.1 percent compared to a year ago.
