SAN ANTONIO, Sept. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas Armoring Corporation (TAC), the leading producer of luxury lightweight armored passenger vehicles, is excited to announce an expansion in the company with a new facility opening in Honduras, Central America. "TAC Americas" (TACAM) features a 40,000 square foot facility with state-of-the-art equipment and employs 30 skilled technicians and back office staff. It is located in the strategic northern city of San Pedro Sula.
The expansions allow us to better serve our government, corporate and NGO clients with the same quality they are accustomed to with added value in speed of delivery and pricing. The rollout of TACAM production, allows us to fulfill all product offerings with competitive pricing for individual fleet size orders including Cash-In-Transit and other specialty vehicles. Our Joint Venture Partners in Honduras (Victory Business Solutions, Ltd.), owned and operated by Mark and Norma Caldwell, bring experience in manufacturing, finance and operations in non-USA markets. The American managed new facility incorporates the same advanced lightweight materials and offers the same superior quality finishing standards the company is known for in the industry.

"TACAM will complete its employee training protocol which includes the armoring of 7 vehicles before beginning live production in October, 2018".
