i2c Completes Purchase of Office Building in Omaha as Rapid Growth Continues

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Sept. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- i2c, a leading global provider of payments processing technology and services, today announced the purchase of a premier office building in Omaha, Nebraska to facilitate strong company and customer growth worldwide. Upon completion of renovations, the 29,000 square foot facility will house the company's Omaha operations center, which i2c opened earlier this year at a separate location. The new space will be used to expand the company's account management, operations, and client services divisions and will also house a Network Operations Center (NOC). The company plans to create 300 new positions within the Omaha operations center's first year.

"Our business is experiencing robust growth, and we are thrilled to continue our investment in Omaha's thriving financial technology community," said Peg Johnson, EVP of Global Client Success at i2c and Omaha native. "The acquisition of this office space gives us the opportunity to build out a work environment that brings the innovative energy and atmosphere of Silicon Valley to Omaha, different from the environment at First Data where I spent nearly 20 years of my career."

The property, located at 808 North 108th Avenue, offers an ideal location with easy access to transportation. The Omaha center is the second major operations center in North America, following the opening of a center in Montréal, Canada in 2016.
