Media Advisory - Minister McKenna will join students in a schoolyard cleanup to fight plastic pollution


GATINEAU, QC, Aug. 28, 2018 /CNW/ - Media representatives are advised that the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, Catherine McKenna, will meet with the students of Pierre Elliott Trudeau Elementary School and participate in a cleanup activity to engage Canadian youth in the fight against plastic pollution.

The Minister will be accompanied by Environment and Climate Change Canada scientist Magali Houde, who will talk to students about the effects of plastic pollution on wildlife and on the environment.
