LocatorX Names Jody Spencer as New Chief Marketing Officer

LocatorX appoints Jody Spencer as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to accelerate the company's growth and drive new market expansion. Reporting to CEO Chester Kennedy, Spencer will be responsible for the company's rebrand, marketing strategy, and reimagining the customer and partner experience.

Kennedy commented, "Jody represents the latest in true world-class talent to be attracted to the mission of applying LocatorX's unique combination of capabilities to resolve real-world challenges for some of the world's most demanding customers. Today, more than any time in history, the expanding role of the CMO impacts every aspect of the business and it can easily make or break a startup such as LocatorX. We are honored to have someone with Jody's reputation for positive impact and breadth of multidomain experience to fill this critical role on our team."

Spencer joins LocatorX bringing more than 25 years of marketing leadership and executive experience developing strategy, creating Go-To-Market (GTM) programs, and building partner ecosystems for B2B software organizations spanning Fortune 1000, SMB, and start-ups. She spent 19 years at Snowbound Software, acquired by Accusoft, where she held various leadership roles culminating as CMO responsible for the company's rebrand, customer acquisition and engagement, and building the company's channel and alliances program. Prior to Snowbound, Spencer held marketing leadership roles at Banta Integrated Media, a division of Banta Corporation, acquired by RR Donnelley. She has also served as marketing advisor and Fractional CMO for several B2B SaaS companies across various industries including Supply Chain, FinTech, MarTech, and CRM.

An active member of Revenue- and GTM-focused communities, she is an Ambassador for GTM Partners, a Founding Member of RevRoom, and Boston Chapter Co-President of Club CMO. Spencer is also the co-creator, co-host, and producer of In The Hot Seat on the PPN Network.

"I have had the opportunity to work with LocatorX in a fractional capacity for several months and have been extremely impressed with the caliber of the team, cutting-edge solutions, dedicated Board, impressive customer base, and network of partners," commented Spencer. "The supply chain is broken; it is plagued with challenges from counterfeit parts, lost inventory, and lack of visibility. I am excited for the opportunity to join an organization with a solution that solves these critical challenges and help drive brand awareness and expand into new markets."
