Carmelo Anthony Chairs AAU Alumni Youth Basketball Advisory Council
10-time NBA All-Star spearheads initiative to grow youth basketball across the country
NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / April 23, 2024 / Future NBA Hall of Famer Carmelo Anthony, a one-time AAU athlete, is chair of the newly launched AAU Alumni Youth Basketball Advisory Council.
The advisory council is comprised of AAU basketball alumni and members of the wider basketball community. The council advocates for the development of youth basketball in the United States.
"Carmelo and the advisory council will help us forge a stronger connection to the youth basketball community," said Jo Mirza, AAU President.
