InventHelp Inventor Develops Improved Recliner/Commode for Patients (SDB-1791)


PITTSBURGH, April 17, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- "I've been a caregiver for many years, and I thought there could be a safer way for patients to relieve themselves without leaving their reclining chair," said an inventor, from San Diego, Calif., "so I invented the ROYALE RECLINER. My design reduces the risk of pain and injuries associated with moving patients to a bathroom."

The invention provides a modified recliner and commode for patients. In doing so, it eliminates the need to transfer a patient from a recliner to a separate commode. As a result, it increases safety, hygiene, comfort and convenience. It also reduces the risk of falls and injuries. The invention features a practical, two-in-one design that is easy to use so it is ideal for medical facilities, nursing homes and home health care settings. Additionally, it is producible in design variations.
