Neat Introduces Stunning Neat Bar Generation 2, Delivering Unparalleled Video Experiences in a Simple, Streamlined Design

Today Neat (neat.no), the pioneering video device company, announced the general availability of Neat Bar Generation 2, delivering extraordinary audio and video for native Zoom or Microsoft Teams Rooms meetings in a slim and elegant form. The company's first second-generation product builds on Neat's commitment to designing uncompromisingly simple devices that enable exceptional communication experiences. Neat will continue to offer its first-generation Neat Bar at a newly reduced price, making it the ideal choice for huddle and small spaces.

Neat Bar 2: Next-Gen Video and Audio All-in-One

Neat Bar 2 provides powerful meeting experiences in a sleek, refined design. A perfect fit for small and medium-sized meeting spaces, it delivers enhanced capabilities that set it apart from other solutions on the market today, including:

"When we created Neat Bar in 2019, we hardly imagined that by 2024 we'd deploy our devices with over 13,000 customers globally, including many of the world's largest enterprises. Neat Bar marked a new era of simplicity, quality and design in video devices, an accomplishment we're proud to build upon with the release of Neat Bar Generation 2. It is, put simply, a step up in every way. Better video, better audio, and a more powerful processor to take advantage of Neat's AI solutions. We hope our customers enjoy using it as much as we enjoyed creating it for them," said Ivar Johnsrud, Head of Hardware and Electronics and Co-founder of Neat.

First-generation Neat Bar: Reduced Price for Video-Enabled Huddle Spaces

The original Neat Bar has all the capabilities for high-quality video collaboration with exceptional video and audio in an attractive, compact design. With the introduction of the second-generation device, Neat has reduced the price of Neat Bar to $2,490, making it an ideal choice for customers to deploy in huddle and small spaces.

"Neat's second-generation product, Neat Bar 2, continues the company's focus on designing high-quality, easy-to-use, and easy-to-install video devices," said Roopam Jain, Vice President of Research, Information and Communications Technology at Frost & Sullivan. "It's also great to see the first-generation Neat Bar at a reduced price. With less than 15% of all small/huddle spaces video-enabled today, the potential to drive better collaboration experiences is immense, and Neat Bar offers a full range of features that make it a powerful choice for huddle spaces."

Trade-In Program

To support customers who want to upgrade their current video bars from Neat or other device providers, Neat has launched its first-ever trade-in program. Customers complete this form to request to trade in their first-generation Neat Bar or a selection of products from other vendors for the new Neat Bar 2.

Certification

Neat Bar 2 is certified for both Microsoft Teams and Zoom Rooms.

"Zoom and Neat's relationship began out of delivering high-quality, tightly integrated video software and devices; we set a high bar with the launch of Neat's first product, Neat Bar. The launch of Neat Bar 2 represents the next stage, delivering even more value to our joint customers and solidifying Neat's position as an innovation leader in video devices," said Chris Moss, Head of Platform and Product Acceleration at Zoom.

"Since Neat started shipping Microsoft Teams Rooms two years ago, we have seen positive feedback from our mutual customers around the level of detail Neat pays attention to in its product, like in its setup experience and finesse of the industrial design, e.g." said Albert Kooiman, Senior Director, Microsoft Teams Partner Engineering and Certification at Microsoft. "We count on Neat Bar 2 to bring even richer conferencing experiences to our customers."

Neat Bar Generation 2 is now generally available from Neat channel partners and on neat.no for $3,990. Visit our website to learn more about Neat Bar 2, Neat Bar, and the new trade-in program. Register here for Neat's May 2 webinar on Neat Bar 2 and Neat Center.
