LOS ANGELES, March 11, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The 55th NAACP Image Awards Golf Invitational, presented by Wells Fargo, A PGD Global Production, tees off at Monarch Beach Golf Links on March 12, 2024. NAACP President & CEO, Derrick Johnson, opens the event with "Breakfast on the First Tee," setting the tone for inclusivity in golf. The Black Excellence On-Course Awards Museum showcasing achievements of 2024 Image Awards nominees. This special golf tournament aims to foster greater inclusivity and will welcome twenty four teams comprised of prominent Image Awards nominees, actors, entertainers, writers, producers, sports legends and influential personalities to commemorate the day on course. Each team will compete in a 5-person scramble format and enjoy on-course hospitality with ocean views. Hosted by NBA Champion, Matt Barnes and Professional Golfer, Seema Sadekar, the invitational sees participation from esteemed figures. Guests can enjoy the tournament from the Clubhouse Lounge, presented by Dewar's, with a live DJ and a lavish dinner to conclude the day's celebration and honor the tournament champions.
