Funds Benefit Programs and Services that Address Child Abuse and Neglect

NEW YORK, Feb. 27, 2024 /PRNewswire/ -- The New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NYSPCC) will hold its annual Spring Luncheon on Tuesday, April 9, and feature a conversation with Dasani Coates, the subject of the Pulitzer Prize-winning nonfiction book by Andrea Elliott, Invisible Child: Poverty, Survival, and Hope in an American City.

The NYSPCC is dedicated to reducing incidences and impacts of child abuse and neglect through prevention programs that improve the safety of children and intervention programs that help children and families heal. Recognized as a pioneer in the field of child protection, the Society has served more than two million children over the past 149 years.
