DSS Hires Robert L. Gordon III to Lead Artificial Intelligence Efforts

New position will expand development of AI-powered solutions for the VA

JUNO BEACH, Fla., Dec. 19, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Document Storage Systems, Inc. Gordon III has joined the company as Senior Strategic Leader for AI and Digital Innovation.    

Most recently Mr. Gordon served as Chief Growth Officer of SBG Technology Solutions (SBG), a wholly owned subsidiary of DSS. He is a former professor and head of American Politics at the United States Military Academy at West Point, a former Deputy Under Secretary at the Department of Defense, and a retired Colonel. He is also a former White House Fellow under Presidents George Bush and Bill Clinton.

For example, Emotion AI is a specialized form of AI that is specifically designed to detect, interpret and provide real-time feedback about our emotions. Properly implemented, Emotion AI technology has the potential to directly support specific VA suicide prevention efforts. One specific area of opportunity could be in support of the VA's Veterans Crisis Line (VCL).
