The Honor Foundation to Pay Tribute to Special Operations Forces at Salute to SOF Gala in Washington D.C.

The special event, presented by Surefox, will honor our nation's elite warriors while raising awareness and funds to support their transition from military to civilian life.

WASHINGTON, Nov. 9, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Honor Foundation (THF), a unique transition institute that serves U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF) by providing a clear process for their transition from military to civilian careers, announced today it will be hosting it's annual Salute to SOF gala, presented by Surefox, this November 15, 2023 at the International Spy Museum in Washington D.C.

The formal event will gather veterans, patriots, and supporters from all over the country to honor our nation's veterans and the members of the Special Operations Forces community, while raising awareness for The Honor Foundation's mission to help SOF navigate the change from military to civilian life. Attendees will dine with THF Alumni and will hear from honored guest and speaker, General Joseph L. Votel, U.S. Army (Ret.).

The event comes at a time when gaps in the traditional transition programs offered to SOF veterans transitioning out of the military are becoming more evident. Many post-9/11 Special Operators are nearing retirement age, and there is a pressing need to better ensure that they have fulfilling lives after their military careers. The funds raised at Salute to SOF will help THF reach even more of these veterans with their proprietary program.
