Reunion Launches Pioneering LGBTQIA2S+ Program: Curated Plant Medicine Retreats for a Transformative Healing Journey

Specializing in personalized experiences, the new program offers immersive retreats blending plant medicine, tailored workshops, and pre- and post-retreat support.

GUANACASTE, Costa Rica, June 20, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Reunion Costa Rica, a not-for-profit leader in transformative retreat experiences, is excited to announce its latest initiative: the LGBTQIA2S+ Program. This initiative underscores Reunion's commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and understanding, providing a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment for those within the LGBTQIA2S+ community.

The program offers a series of curated plant medicine retreats, tailor-made to address the unique experiences and challenges of the LGBTQIA2S+ community. Each retreat combines healing ceremonies, engaging workshops, and integration circles focused on promoting self-love, acceptance, and authenticity.

Reunion's LGBTQIA2S+ Program commences with the "Cultivating Pride & Authenticity" retreat, scheduled to run from October 28 to November 4, 2023. This inaugural retreat, co-curated with an array of queer leaders and seasoned psychologists, is specially designed for gay, queer, trans, or questioning men.

Participants will have an opportunity to engage with the transformative power of ayahuasca, guided by experienced facilitators. Themes of this retreat include releasing shame, fostering self-acceptance, and living authentically.

"We have created this program with the firm belief that everyone deserves the space to grow, heal, and explore their identities freely and without judgment," said Reunion Founder and Steward Brad Wells. "Safety and inclusivity are at the core of our mission. Reunion provides a supportive, compassionate, and understanding environment that fosters healing and self-love."

The "Cultivating Pride & Authenticity" retreat will offer a blend of powerful healing modalities including plant medicine sessions, embodiment workshops, ecstatic dance, cacao ceremonies, and integration group circles. There will also be ample opportunity for interaction with nature, further enriching participants' transformative journeys.

Participants will receive comprehensive pre- and post-retreat support, ensuring their journey of self-discovery and transformation extends beyond the duration of the retreat. This support will empower participants to carry their lessons and transformations into their everyday lives, creating a ripple effect of positive change within their personal networks and communities.

While the initial retreat is specifically designed for gay, queer, trans, or questioning men, Reunion plans to expand its offerings to include all members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community in the future.
