ChipMOS REPORTS MAY 2023 REVENUE

HSINCHU, June 9, 2023 /PRNewswire/ -- ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES INC. ("ChipMOS" or the "Company") (Taiwan Stock Exchange: 8150 and NASDAQ: IMOS), an industry leading provider of outsourced semiconductor assembly and test services ("OSAT"), today reported its unaudited consolidated revenue for the month of May 2023. All U.S. dollar figures cited in this press release are based on the exchange rate of NT$30.74 to US$1.00 as of May 31, 2023.

Revenue for the month of May 2023 was NT$1,834.3 million or US$59.7 million, representing an increase of 0.7% from April 2023, and a decrease of 23.5% from May 2022.

The Company noted its May revenue was slightly up sequentially reflecting industry-wide inventory adjustments, as the Company continues to work closely with customers to navigate demand and loading levels.
