MEDIA ADVISORY - Government of Canada and NICHI to make announcement on urban, rural and northern Indigenous housing

OTTAWA, ON, June 7, 2023 /CNW/ - Please be advised that the Honourable Patty Hajdu, Minister of Indigenous Services, and Jeff Loucks, Chief Executive Officer of the National Indigenous Collaborative Housing Inc. (NICHI), will announce funding towards affordable urban, rural and northern Indigenous housing projects.

They will be joined by the Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Housing and Diversity and Inclusion; the Honourable Dan Vandal, Minister of Northern Affairs; Gary Wilson, Vice Chair, National Indigenous Collaborative Housing Inc. (NICHI) and; Robert Byers, Secretary, National Indigenous Collaborative Housing Inc. (NICHI)

A technical briefing will be held prior to the press conference. Details are as follows:
