CoolIT Systems Announces Issuance Of US Patent For Liquid Pumping Units

Global leader in advanced cooling strengthens intellectual property position with new US patent for serviceable pump module technology

CALGARY, Alberta, Aug. 25, 2022  /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- CoolIT Systems (CoolIT), the global leader in scalable liquid cooling technology for desktop and data centers, announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office (PTO) has issued Patent Number 11,395,443 for "LIQUID PUMPING UNITS, AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS", showcasing CoolIT's innovation and competitive edge in advanced liquid cooling solutions.

Owning over 80 patents, CoolIT's newest filing protects their intellectual property in the design and manufacturing of liquid pumping units containing serviceable pump modules. The serviceable pump module enhances a liquid pumping unit's redundancy and serviceability by allowing an individual pump to be removed and replaced in the field without the need to shut down or replace an entire liquid pumping unit like a coolant distribution unit (CDU).

"The issuance of the liquid pumping unit patent is a significant accomplishment for CoolIT Systems. It further enhances our position as the innovation beacon and leader in the advanced cooling industry," states Kamal Mostafavi, Vice President of Engineering at CoolIT Systems, "We are excited about the opportunity this patent will bring to our development process and product portfolio."
