Epsagon Officially Launches to Usher In Next Generation of Serverless Computing

TEL AVIV, Israel, Oct. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Epsagon, a serverless application monitoring company, today officially unveiled its end-to-end visibility and monitoring platform for serverless architectures. Using distributed tracing and AI technologies, companies can now gain insight into application performance to rapidly remediate bottlenecks and significantly reduce infrastructure costs. Epsagon's ability to monitor the entire application beyond single functions make it an industry first.

"Gartner says by 2022 most cloud architectures will evolve to a serverless model. We're experiencing this rapid shift firsthand and see serverless as the future of cloud computing," said Nitzan Shapira, CEO and Co-founder, Epsagon. "But in order for the vision of serverless to become a reality across every enterprise, companies must be able to see where the application bottlenecks are and what they are spending. This is precisely why we've created Epsagon ? to give companies the level of visibility and peace of mind to run their businesses on serverless."

Serverless architectures offer dramatic cost savings and increased speed of innovation, yet a lack of visibility and unpredictable costs are threatening mass adoption in the enterprise. There is a massive paradigm shift in the way companies manage visibility, monitoring and cost. Applications today are highly distributed with business workflows and data spread across multiple managed services and APIs. As a result, measuring performance and cost at the server level is no longer enough ? companies need to be application aware. Epsagon monitors the entire application, beyond the function, to give companies the ability to bridge the visibility and cost gap across their serverless architectures.

Leveraging distributed tracing technology coupled with the latest in AI, Epsagon automatically detects full transactions throughout a company's system, calculates costs and provides aggregated numbers around cost and performance across the most critical business functions. Epsagon's ML framework also leverages aggregate data across all of a company's customers to predict application performance accurately. Features and benefits include:
