GoDaddy announces the third phase of its Toronto Raptors partnership continuing its focus on sports marketing in Canada

GoDaddy enlists CJ Miles to launch its CJ's PJs marketing campaign

TORONTO, Oct. 17, 2018 /CNW/ - GoDaddy, the world's largest cloud platform dedicated to small, independent ventures, today announced the third phase of its partnership with the Toronto Raptors. Underscoring how easy it is to create an online presence for your venture, GoDaddy is bringing on shooting guard CJ Miles to help him launch CJ's PJs ? a unique line of fun and cozy sleepwear. For this campaign, GoDaddy collaborated with Miles to create his e-commerce website to sell his new line of pajamas.

Over the past few years, GoDaddy has accelerated efforts to democratize the small business space in Canada by giving small business owners and entrepreneurs the tools, insights and personalized help they need to succeed online. Leveraging its love of sports again, GoDaddy and Miles are demonstrating the benefits and ease for entrepreneurs to build and grow their business online. In this campaign, GoDaddy continues to add humor along with a fun business idea - the ultimate PJs for a great night's sleep.

The pajamas are available to purchase online, in sizes XS ? 2XL, at CJsPJs.ca, a new website built using GoDaddy Website Builder. While CJ's PJs isn't a real business, the pajamas are, and net proceeds will benefit The Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada.

"Getting a good night's sleep is important for me as an athlete, and being comfortable is a huge part of that. Maybe CJ's PJs can help someone wake up well-rested," said CJ Miles, Toronto Raptor.  "I'm thrilled that GoDaddy is helping me introduce CJ's PJs to everyone."

"Sports are a huge part of what makes us Canadian, we know our customers are sports fans, it's in our DNA as Canadians. Our brand is naturally playful, so it's been a great fit for GoDaddy to tap into the Toronto Raptors' national fan base for the past few years," said Jill Schoolenberg, Vice President and Country Manager of GoDaddy Canada. "Creating and launching CJ's PJs with CJ serves as a fun platform to continue to encourage entrepreneurs and small business owners across Canada to create their presence online."

Cementing its bet on sports marketing in Canada, CJ's PJs comes after three successful campaigns including Itty Bitty Ballers, the launch of the hit single 'No Problem,' and Tourneur Des Bois in Quebec.
