Relaxation Dental Specialties to Provide Free Dental Work for U.S. Military Veterans

BRECKENRIDGE, Colo., Oct. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Relaxation Dental Specialties (RDS), located at 1222 C Street in Salida, will be providing an entire day's worth of free dental work for U.S. Veterans and active service members on November 10, 2018. They are calling the event "Smiles for Freedom" and are taking appointments by phone now. Appointments will be reserved on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Services will include cleanings, fillings, crowns, extractions, cancer screenings and select other procedures on a case-by-case basis. Under no circumstances will a veteran or active service member be billed for services rendered during this event.

Smiles for FREEdom is a special event for RDS owner and founder, Dr. Nicholas Brown, whose father served on a nuclear submarine in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. "My freedom and protection is based on their willingness to serve and we want to thank them for it. On that day, it is our goal to provide a compassionate, gentle, caring environment, followed by the best dental care available. We will spoil them rotten in the office, then send them home with dental hygiene kits," Dr. Brown said.

Also helping with the event is Dr. Jason Hansen, an expert in Oral Systems, TMJ Disorder, as well as Botox & Juvederm injections, who practices at RDS' Breckenridge location. Dr. Hansen's father served in the Navy Dental Corps during the Vietnam War. "This event is an exciting opportunity to help out the people who serve this country. Access to quality dental care is not something that everyone has and makes a huge difference in a person's long-term health. Both Dr. Brown and I are delighted to be able to help these people," noted Dr. Hansen.

To schedule an appointment, please call 719-539-3145 or email [email protected]. Please bring a valid Military ID at time of appointment.
