Dr. DJ Nag joins IPwe as Global Head of Academic and Non-Profit Sector


PARIS, Oct. 16, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- IPwe, Inc. announced today that Dr. DJ Nag is joining IPwe as Global Head for the Academic and Non-Profit Sector. DJ is well known in the technology transfer and academic community. Prior to joining IPwe, DJ successfully led several technology transfer operations at major institutions like The Ohio State University, Rutgers University and University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is credited for creating more than 70 startups and successfully licensing hundreds of patents.

DJ holds a Ph.D. and MS in biophysical chemistry, an MBA and a Bachelors in pharmaceutical engineering. Previously, DJ was a Director at Ocean Tomo.  He currently teaches an Intellectual Property strategy course at Rutgers University in collaboration with the USPTO. He previously served on the Board of Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) responsible for professional development globally. He also resides on the Licensing Executive Society's (LES) Board for Standards Development Organization.
