InventHelp Inventor Develops Cold Temperature Monitoring System for Automotive Fluid Systems (SMB-104)

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Car problems never seem to come at a convenient time, but can be especially challenging in cold weather. Fortunately, an inventor from Bourbonnais, Ill., who is also a professional truck driver, came up with a way to help motorists reduce the risk of being stranded in the cold because their car won't start.

He developed COLD WEATHER FRIEND to monitor and maintains specific oil and antifreeze temperatures in a truck or car. As such, it prevents these automotive fluids from freezing despite cold air temperatures. Therefore, it keeps a motor vehicle from stalling, protecting the driver from being stranded on the road in extreme weather conditions. Thus, it saves time, effort and expense and improves roadway safety at the same time. In addition, it is convenient, effective and affordably priced.

The inventor's professional experience inspired the idea. "While I was stuck on the road for hours in the cold because my truck wouldn't start," he said, "I came up with this modification to a motor vehicle fluid system, to prevent that kind of inconvenience."

The original design was submitted to the Chicago office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
