RICHMOND, Va., Oct. 15, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Thirty years ago in March of 1988, Phil Conein, took a leap of faith and applied for a business license to found, what is now the Richmond, Virginia based company, Techead.
His wife and partner, Philise Conein states, "I joined Phil in September of 1988, on a whim, with little forethought to the future and to what a business 'was,' or could be. Our original business model was doing graphic design, mostly logos, and presentations, on the antiquated Videoshow platform. In 1991, we added creative staffing services to the mix, after a client said, 'Hey, we could use someone like you onsite, at our office'. "
She continues, "Now, it seems almost a lifetime ago. We look back on all the years, with joy, with tears, but mostly with our hearts full of gratitude. We attribute our longevity to hard work, persistence and a lot of good fortune. We couldn't have done it without each other, and we certainly couldn't have done it without a lot of help, input and insight from others. Businesses do not build themselves, nor can they grow or change without teamwork and talent."
