SmartRink Goes Top Shelf On Global Sales


HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, Oct. 11, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- With a view toward improving the accessibility of skating and curling worldwide, SmartRink Incorporated of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada is pleased to announce the purchase of all intellectual property and assets of NOICEONE Ltd of Southport, U.K. A new company NOICEONE Incorporated has been formed to continue business operations which will now also be based in Halifax.

Tim Oldfield President and CEO of SmartRink says "I am very excited about taking these brands global and providing greater, affordable access to emerging skating, hockey and curling markets such as China and Southeast Asia". When asked what his biggest challenge will be now, he indicates product distribution. "We are now officially seeking qualified distributors around the world."

John Thorpe, Managing Director of NOICEONE Ltd. says that while he's thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the business it's time for him to slow down and enjoy life. "I've been involved in the synthetic ice skating rink business for over 35 years and I wouldn't change it for anything. But this deal makes good sense for both parties so the time is now." Thorpe adds that "the existing distribution network will remain intact, and the business shows great promise toward continued growth."

NOICEONE Inc. will provide a global footprint in the manufacture, sales and distribution of the trademarked ICE-Y-Blue700tm product platform manufactured in Germany by through a joint venture agreement with OKULEN, one of the largest engineered plastics producers in Europe.

Tim Oldfield the President of the newly minted NOICEONE Inc. is thrilled to finally see this deal come together.
