ValTek Names Hamilton As Chairman And Former Weir Executive As President

ODESSA, Texas, Sept. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- ValTek Industries, Inc., is pleased to announce today that Shane Hamilton, ValTek's current CEO, will be appointed Chairman of the Company effective October 1, 2018. ValTek is also pleased to announce today the appointment of Christopher (Chris) Hibbert as President effective October 1, 2018.

The origins of ValTek were established more than 30 years ago, and under Shane's leadership, ValTek has become a trusted and preferred supplier of innovative, reliable and long-lasting well fracturing products.

As Chairman, the Board is certain Shane will continue his empowering leadership, overseeing ValTek's next chapter of growth and success.

Chris Hibbert's Bio
Chris has nearly 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, strategy, product management, operational management and mergers & acquisitions. He was most recently VP Sales & Service at Weir Oil & Gas. His responsibilities extended over 20+ facilities and 5 continents with nearly $1B in revenue and approximately 900 employees under his leadership.

Prior to joining Weir, Chris served as Vice President at Lincoln Manufacturing, Inc. He also held various progressive positions at Schlumberger and SFI Financial.

Chris holds a BA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Southwestern College as well as a Master of Business Administration and a Juris Doctor Degree, both from the University of Kansas.
