Hidrate Spark 2.0 Launches in Target Stores Nationwide


CHICAGO, Sept. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Hidrate Inc., creators of the Hidrate Spark 2.0, a sleek smart water bottle that tracks water intake to help users reach daily hydration goals, announced today its nationwide launch in 1,800 Target store locations.

Due to consistent positive performance and increased customer demand following an initial 200 store deployment earlier this year, Hidrate is expanding its footprint with Target, one of the largest department store retailers in the country. Hidrate has also been available for purchase on Target.com since September 2017.

The Hidrate Spark 2.0 is a bluetooth-enabled smart water bottle that tracks water intake and syncs to a hydration app (available on iOS and Android). The 24-ounce, BPA-free, dishwasher-safe bottle has a long lasting battery life with no charging needed.

With proprietary technology and a built-in sensor, Hidrate calculates your daily water goal based on personal parameters, such as gender, age, weight, and height, then personalizes hydration goals, offering reminders and suggestions based on individual physiology, activity, and location. The bottle also pairs with fitness trackers and apps such as Fitbit, Apple Watch, Apple Health, MyFitnessPal and more to adjust hydration goals to fit your daily activity level. Embedded with LED lights, the bottle glows to remind users to stay hydrated.

The brand was founded in 2015, starting with a record-breaking, top 1% Kickstarter campaign. Since then, the company has rapidly grown into the leading brand in the smart water bottle category with additional announcements and launches in the pipeline for 2019.

Retailing at $45, Hidrate Spark 2.0 is available in a variety of frosted color choices, with teal and black options initially for sale in 400 Target stores and teal, black, purple and white available in 1400 other locations.
