Team Fastraxtm Will Light Up the Sky To Start Big Ten Match-up

CHAMPAIGN, Ill., Sept. 21, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- September 21st, 2018, the University of Illinois Fighting Illini will take on the Penn State Nittany Lions at 8pm CT, in an exciting Big Ten showdown at Memorial Stadium. The game will be televised on FS1 and FOXSportsGo.com, so fans both at the game and at home will be able to view a special pyrotechnics start.

As part of the opening ceremony, Team Fastraxtm will jump in to Memorial Stadium with their 2,000 square foot American Flag. Two TSA fireworks-licensed skydivers with specially made LED suits and projectile pyrotechnics will fly in formation, creating a dazzling display.

Already an amazing spectacle, the team will take the performance to a whole new level by showing the jump on the scoreboard with their live air-to-ground video feed.

"We are very excited to do our pyrotechnics demonstration for this Big Ten match-up," commented John Hart, owner of Start Skydiving, and Founder of Team Fastraxtm. "It's sure to be a good game and it will be interesting to see how many UFO Sightings we'll cause with our performance."

According to the University of Illinois website, Penn State leads the all-time series against Illinois, 18-5, including an 8-4 record in Champaign. This is also Hall of Fame Weekend. Members of the 2018 Illinois Athletics Hall of Fame, including linebacker Dana Howard and running back Jim Grabowski, will be honored at the game. The Hall of Fame induction ceremony will take place on Saturday, Sept. 22, at 2 p.m. at State Farm Center.
