AeroNet: A Story of Business Resilience and Success in Puerto Rico

GUAYNABO, Puerto Rico, September 20, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Puerto Rican technology company AeroNet continues to innovate and grow with new products to support business continuity in the Caribbean region. Fully recovered from the damages caused by the 2017 hurricane season, the company is now in the process of expanding its capabilities and footprint both in Puerto Rico as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands and South Florida. Adding to its success plan, this year the company became the first Internet Service Provider from Puerto Rico to be included in the prestigious Inc. 5000 list from Inc. Magazine.

"This is a true story of resilience. In spite of all the challenges we had due to the natural disasters, not only we recovered very quickly but also started to invest in a growth plan for the benefit of our customers", explains Gino Villarini, president and founder of AeroNet. Over the last year, the company has invested over $3.7 million in repair and expansion works related to its infrastructure and network. Both its client base and workforce has also grown approximately 20%.

The lessons learned after the disaster and the demands of new clients have driven the company to develop customized and flexible solutions to address business connectivity challenges. To this end, AeroNet launched Dual Network Access (DNA) and Net Insurance, two new products that provide greater redundancy and minimize Internet service interruptions for businesses.

"AeroNet is focused on helping companies solidify their telecommunications infrastructure with solutions that improve efficiency and productivity, and that ensure the continuity and reliability of business activities by maximizing the latest available technology," added Villarini. "With these products, businesses can significantly reduce their risks of being disconnected during an unexpected event", he added.

The Dual Network Access is a service package that includes two dedicated and independent Internet connections. Each connection is based on a different operational technology: one of the connections is via fiber optic and the second is microwave technology based. This innovative combination maximizes the availability of the Internet service, taking advantage of the strengths of both technologies during any event.

On the other hand, Net Insurance is a product designed for those companies that already have an Internet connection, but need a high-speed backup alternative. "It's practically an insurance, in case your primary connection fails", Villarini explained. Thus, businesses maintain the ability to remain connected and can handle specific periods of high Internet use, when their main connection is saturated.

Given their flexible nature, these products are available for all types of businesses, both in Puerto Rico as well as in the US Virgin Islands and South Florida. For more information, businesses can contact AeroNet at 787.273.4143 or visit aeronetpr.com for more information.
