Liberty IT Solutions Awarded Veterans Affairs Virtual Campus (VAVC) Task Order

HERNDON, Va., Sept. 20, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Liberty IT Solutions, LLC has been awarded a task order (12-month base year and four potential option periods) to provide an Infrastructure as a Service (IAAS) VAVC solution and studio production, supporting the Veterans Affairs IT Workforce Development. The VAVC is a web-based platform allowing VA employees to access training videos and courses remotely, reducing the need for in-person training events. This program leverages broadcast/studio production expertise and IAAS, cloud-hosted technologies to save VA travel costs by providing a high tech and effective experience for approximately sixteen thousand remote users.

Team Liberty, along with subcontractor ManTech Corporation, intends to support the current state of the VAVC while paving the way to support future development and production goals. This will be done by evolving the VAVC through the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, to serverless-architecture, and maximizing efficiencies during studio production of content.
VAVC has expanded from its initial pilot program into the successful program that it is today. Liberty will continue to work towards bettering this system and providing the VA with a Virtual Campus that will suit their expanding training needs.
