CERRITOS, Calif., Sept. 19, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Dr. Morar is a graduate of the the University Of Medicine and Pharmacy, Carol Davilla in Bucharest, Romania. She completed her advanced medical training with a residency at the Ohio Valley Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in medical oncology at the Allegheny Health Network, in Pittsburgh, PA.
Dr. Sanda Morar has spent nearly three decades serving as a physician, with more than 19 years of experience in the medical oncology field. She has built a reputation as a patient-centered oncologist with a particular interest in breast, colon, and gynecological cancers. Dr. Sanda Morar recently completed her assignment as a medical oncologist with the Morrison Cancer Center in Hastings, Nebraska. She was the Medical Director for the Virginia Piper Cancer Institute at the Cambridge Medical Center in Cambridge, Minnesota. She also served as chair of the Institute's Oncology Committee and as a Cancer Liaison. Prior to her work with the Virginia Piper Cancer Institute, Dr. Sanda Morar led as Director of Oncology at Minnesota Oncology ( Cambridge Medical Center Cancer program) - a role in which she worked with approximately 18 cancer patients a day while maintaining her involvement in clinical trials. She also has experience as a medical oncologist for Mid-Illinois Hematology and Oncology Associates.
She is highly active in clinic development and clinical trials and is fluent in Romanian.
