American Wave Machines Launches OffShore Surftm

American Wave Machines, Inc. (AWM) announces the launch of OffShore Surftm, a comprehensive surf venue offering, and names veteran Location Based Entertainment executive, Greg Lombardo as the company's Chief Executive Officer. Lombardo formerly served as the Senior Vice President of Global Live and Location Based Entertainment for 20th Century Fox.

OffShore Surf combines an authentic surfing experience with food, bar and retail - all under one roof. Powered by American Wave Machine's breakthrough SurfStream technology, Offshore Surf offers visitors everything from soft rolling white water waves to hollow right and left barrels. The technology provides a deep-water surfing experience on real surfboards for all ages and skill levels in a compact footprint. A versatile platform for exhibitions, contests and events, OffShore Surf greatly expands the traditional surf market to attract aspirational surfers, wherever they live, in scalable indoor and outdoor venues of 15,000 to 25,000 square feet (4,572 to 7,620 square metres).

During his tenure with 20th Century Fox, Lombardo built the location-based entertainment group and led development of such projects as the first 20th Century Fox World Theme Park - opening next year in Malaysia, "Avatar: Discover Pandora" global exhibition, Alien: Descent VR Experience and the popular Simpson's "Springfield" lands at Universal Studios.
