InventHelp Inventor Develops Improved Catheter Design (KOC-950)


PITTSBURGH, Sept. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- An inventor from Saint-Isidore-de-Clifton, Quebec, Canada, has developed the ANTI-BLOCKING CATHETER, a modified urinary catheter assembly that prevents blockage.

"I developed my idea because I was tired of seeing people suffer when I was changing their urinary catheter due to a blockage," said the inventor. The ANTI-BLOCKING CATHETER offers a method of using a catheter system to drain the bladder of urine. This will decrease the risk of contaminating the body with waste products. It will also reduce infection risk and complications associated with blocked tubes. This improved catheter system will save a healthcare practitioner or caregiver time and effort. It is sanitary and easy to use. It will offer increased comfort and less pain for catheter patients, which will improve patient satisfaction.
