GKN groups aftermarket activities into a new website

ROESRATH, Germany, Sept. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- GKN's Niche Customer, Motorsport & Aftermarket (NMA) website has been completely overhauled with a simple-to-use, modern look and interesting content that is integrated into the common GKN brand presence on the GKN Driveline website. This integration means that all important and interesting information on GKN activities and events can be found in one place.

The site is located at the URL:

https://www.gkn.com/en/our-divisions/gkn-driveline/our-solutions/drivelineservices/

The new site has been designed to focus emphasis on customer solutions. The main menu provides access to information on Motorsport, Aftermarket and Niche Customers.

Alongside are related systems and individual products such as a simple and fast download option for brochures and catalogues. To assist the Aftermarket business, users have access to a news center with information on new products, the latest version of the online catalogue (updated monthly) and a portal with how-to videos and installation tips for workshops. Plus, a trade show calendar provides details on industry events where the NMA is showcasing its wares.

The web pages are compatible with all standard browsers and optimized for mobile devices. The brand and keyword search function makes it quick and easy for users to find the information they need on contacts, products and technologies.

GKN's Download section provides access to a wide range of material. A comprehensive reference database shows the application diversity of the company's driveline components group. Content is offered in English, although further language versions are currently in preparation.

Aftermarket covers more wide-ranging and varied customers than virtually any other business division. The GKN people working in this area supply the independent replacement parts market with almost all products manufactured by GKN for cars and light commercial vehicles. The overall product line-up is further enhanced by supplier parts like springs and steering technology.
