Packline Materials Handling Announce Production Of The New Single Spindle Attachment With Rollers, For Handling Heavy Rolls Of Film And Foil

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Sept. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- New from Packline, the bespoke single spindle attachment with fitted rollers is designed to lift and handle heavy rolls of film and foil. Constructed mainly from stainless steel, the roll handling equipment is suitable for clean room and high care environments, such as food and pharmaceutical industries.

The rolls are lifted by the central core. A series of rollers along the spindle attachment enables the heavy rolls to slide onto and from the attachment.

Also, a removable pin is provided to secure the rolls whilst in transit.

The attachment is reversible, a feature which enables rolls to be picked up from the floor and loaded up to a height of 1900mm (74.8 inches).

The raising and lowering action is made via a hand held 'pendant' control which means that the operator can observe the loading and unloading of the rolls for greater precision.

All these features combine to provide the operator to lift, transport and handle rolls with complete confidence and safety.

The machine and its attachment are suitable for the pharmaceutical and food industries and other hygienic applications.
