CEDAR GROVE, N.J., Sept. 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- His Holiness will be arriving to the United States on the 13th of September in New York for the start of a Papal Pastoral visit to the parishes and dioceses of the North Eastern United States until the 11th of October.
His Holiness is the 118th pope and the successor to St. Mark the Apostle. St. Mark is the writer of the oldest Gospel among the four. He is the Apostle whom the Lord Jesus Christ celebrated the Last Supper in his house in Jerusalem.
The successors of St. Mark have had leadership in the initial Three Ecumenical Councils of Nicaea, Constantinople and Ephesus. The Coptic Church is the founder of the first theological school of Alexandria, and the origin of monasticism for the whole world through St. Anthony the Great.
Egypt is best remembered for the very memorable and honoring verses from the Holy Bible:
