Three Leading Airports Choose Magnetic-Mounted Stanchions from Lavi Industries to Improve Queue Management and Passenger Flow

VALENCIA, Calif., Sept. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Lavi Industries, a leader in queue management and public guidance solutions for the transportation industry, has released a new case study detailing how three leading U.S. airports have utilized the company's magnetic-mounted stanchions. The case study describes how Atlanta International, San Francisco International, and Dallas Fort-Worth airports have brought magnetic-mounted stanchions into their queues and showcases the resulting benefits to airport operations and the passenger experience.

Magnetic-mounted stanchions provide an alternative to traditional core-drilled or portable stanchions in security checkpoints, ticketing, and other queues. The strong magnetic base helps to create and maintain orderly queues and simplify queue reconfiguration.

"As airports continue to modernize their facilities, they need solutions that keep queues organized?
specifically, solutions that are easy to re-configure, space-saving, durable, and aesthetically-appealing," explains Perry Kuklin, Director of Marketing for Lavi Industries.

According to Lavi Industries, the airports highlighted in the case study realized a number of key benefits from their adoption of magnetic-mounted stanchions. Among those benefits is that the posts are kept firmly in place by the strong magnetic base, allowing airports to maintain an orderly and consistent queue. Still, the stanchions can be quickly removed from floor plate and returned to exactly the same position, in particular for routine floor cleaning. The magnetic-base stanchions have a smaller footprint than traditional stanchions which provides an important benefit to airports looking to maximize limited space while still meeting ADA requirements for queue configurations.

"One of the most-appreciated features of the magnetic-mounted stanchions is the installation process, which can be completed quickly with little to no down time for the airport queue. This is something airport managers really appreciate," Kuklin explains.
