Commonwealth Hotels Names Dual General Manager for the Tru by Hilton Louisville Airport and the Hampton by Hilton Louisville Airport, Kentucky


COVINGTON, Ky., Sept. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Commonwealth Hotels LLC announces Marty Allen has been promoted to the position of Dual General Manager for the new Tru Louisville Airport and the Hampton Inn Louisville Airport. The Tru Louisville Airport, which is owned by Garnett Hospitality, is scheduled to open September 2018 and boasts 88 contemporary rooms. The 130 room Hampton Inn Louisville Airport is owned by Diamond Hospitality.

Tru by Hilton Louisville Airport due to open October 10th.

As Dual General Manager, Marty will direct all areas of the hotels' operations.  "Marty has been an asset to our Commonwealth team for many years and his tenure will continue to help the Tru by Hilton Louisville Airport be a success!" said Brian Fry, President of Commonwealth Hotels.

Prior to accepting the Dual role, Marty served within the Hospitality Industry for over 20 years. He joined the Commonwealth Family as Front Office Manager and then promoted to General Manager at the Hampton Inn Clarksville, IN. Marty then received the opportunity to become General Manager of the Hampton Inn Louisville Airport where he was also active as a Task Force General Manager and Mentor for several hotels and new General Managers. Marty is a well-practiced and dedicated hospitality professional and a graduate from North Central University.

The Tru by Hilton brand is a brand-new hotel experience that's vibrant, affordable and young-at-heart. Its energetic presence is welcomed into the Louisville Airport area providing a uniquely Tru experience.

Hampton by Hilton is a favored brand within the Hilton Family of hotels. Business and leisure guests have come to enjoy this moderately priced, upper midscale hotel for a number of years.

Both the Tru by Hilton and the Hampton by Hilton Louisville Airport will provide complimentary shuttle service to the Louisville International Airport.
